Description
Tree filter is a setting that will help the robot make more straight lines next to trees. The Tree filter is especially effective when the robot is coming from an area without trees going into an area where trees are close to the line.
The tree filter should not be used if there are no trees or other obstacles nearby blocking the signal. This could cause the robot to paint uneven lines instead of straight ones.
If a field is placed close to trees the Tree filter can be used to make these lines way straighter. (See the difference between lines with and without tree filter under "Example of tree problems" This can be found at the bottom of the article.).
This improved feature is available on the app 9.8.5 and together with robot software 9.10.9.
How to:
1. Press and select the field you want to activate the Tree filter on.
2. Press Modify > Edit > Advanced.
3. From Advanced settings, tap the lines you wish to enable the Tree filter on - Tap until they become orange. Press OK > Save.
4. The Tree filter is now enabled on the orange lines.
Example of tree problems
The line on the left is painted with the Tree filter
The line on the right is painted without the Tree filter.
