Every once in a while, the robots may paint lines that are not straight. This can happen for a number of reasons which can be divided into three main categories:
- Napping / Push of the grass
- Satellite issues
- Mechanical issues
Napping
Napping refers to the push of the grass on the robot. The symptom of this will be regular, harmonic curves in the painted line.

Satellite issues
Satellite issues are often caused by nearby structures such as buildings or trees. The symptom of this will be irregular, non-harmonic disturbances in the painted line.

Mechanical issues
The robot's mechanical parts may be affected by heavy usage. The same way a bicycle needs to be maintained throughout the years, so too does a robot. A loose screw in the caster wheel can cause the robot to wiggle and wobble while driving which can cause wobbly lines.
- Check and tighten all screws, nots etc. in and around the wheels.
- Check the air pressure in the front caster wheel which must be 36 PSI/250kPa/2.5 bar.
- Check the air pressure in the two large motor wheels (TinyLineMarker Pro X) which must be 35 PSI/240 kPa/2.4 bar.
