Description
Fluent Drive reduces the number of times the robot will drive around itself. This will make the robot less likely to get stuck in wet and muddy conditions. Therefore the robot needs more space around the field. The robot needs about 2 meters/6.56 feet.
Example of robot path for the corner markings on 11v11 Soccer
When Fluent Drive is active the robot will not drive completely fluent, but with small pauses when driving from one line to another. Fluent Drive will, compared to Fluent Run, approximately be 5 minutes slower on an 11v11 soccer field.
Fluent Drive is useful in tough turf conditions, where there is a risk of the robot getting stuck when the fields are e.g. wet and muddy.
The feature is available on the app 9.10.0 and together with robot software 9.12.0.
