The TinySurveyor app comes pre-installed on the included tablet, a rugged Samsung Galaxy Active Tab 2 tablet.
The app is used to control the robot. Everything related to creating a job, job customizations, robot settings etc. is managed directly from the tablet.
Joystick
The joystick is used to control the robot manually.
Background map
The background map allows you to place and move your jobs on a real-world map of your area.
Menu bar
The menu options change depending on whether or not a job is selected. To select a job, press the job once. To deselect it, press anywhere outside the job.
The different options are explained in the table below.
To enter Advanced Settings for your job, please go to Modify>Edit>Advanced.

Robot GNSS/TS | Shows the status on the position input. GNSS or Total station. Number of visible satellites are shown in top of the satellite icon. | |

Fit to screen | Pressing this option will fit the map to display the connected robot and tablet in one view. | |
Locate robot | Pressing this option will center the view on the connected robot. | |
Robot position | Appears on the map and shows where the connected robot is located. | |
Tablet position | Appears on the map and shows where the tablet is located. | |
Joystick | When in manual mode, the joystick is available and can be used to maneuver the TinySurveyor. | |
STOP | When in automatic mode, the joystick is replaced with a STOP button. Press this button to make TinySurveyor stop driving and exit automatic mode. |

Drive to | Drive to function allows you to easily move the robot in a straight line to the destination you specify without using the joystick. Press Drive to and then press the desired position on the map. TinySurveyor will start automatic drive mode when you press Start. | |
Test spray | Test spray function allows you to spray manually to inspect the nozzle performance and spray settings. Press Test spray to activate the spray with an impulse. | |
Near | Find the nearest point on the nearest line/point. The robot will start marking from this point. | |
+New job | +New job function allows you to create and design new job. Press +New job to start the design procedure. For more information about creating a new job, press here. | |
Import | |
Press Import to show the files that can be imported from the USB or from the connected desktop computer. For more information about importing a job, press here. |
